Murr Welding & Design welders are certified in High Pressure Piping, High Pressure Gas, Structural Steel and DOT Frame Repairs in addition to welding certifications with AWS and ASME. American Welding Society

The American Welding Society was founded in 1919, is a not-for-profit organization, and was created to support welding education and the continuous advancement of new technologies in this field. According to the American Welding Society, to become a certified welder an individual must take and pass an exam at an AWS Accredited Test Facility. Applicants are required to submit a sound weld that will be inspected by an AWS certified welding inspector. Murr Welding & Design team of welders have met and exceeded all qualifications for certification.

ASME – American Society of Mechanical Engineers

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers was founded in 1880 and hosts over 600 technical standards improving the safety and efficiency of boilers, elevators, cranes, nuclear energy, pipelines, and many other areas. ASME members provide engineering and technical expertise to policy makers in Congress, the White House Office of Science and Technology policy, and key federal agencies.

Safety Certification

Murr Welding & Design’s main priority is safety. Our company has mandatory designated safety program certifications. However, our team also has additional certifications which include Safeland USA, H2S Clear, CPR, First Aid, Osha 10, and drug testing program. Our goal is to provide our customers with the assurance the job will be done correctly and safely.
